Haslet
Terms of Use
By downloading or using Haslet you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app. If the Turkish version differs, the Turkish version prevails.
1. The service
Haslet is a worship companion offering prayer times, the qibla direction, Quran reading and listening, a dhikr counter, prayer and missed-prayer (qada) tracking, a fasting log and a calendar. It is developed and provided by Alperen Sevinç (fraxlabs).
The app is free and contains no ads. An account is optional and only serves to back up your records and sync them across devices.
2. About religious content and calculations
- Prayer times are calculated from your location using the method of Türkiye’s Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet). Results may differ by a few minutes depending on location accuracy, elevation and local conditions. Times are for information; for sensitive moments such as the start and end of the fast, follow the official calendar.
- The Hijri calendar and religious days are calculated and may differ by one day from officially announced dates.
- The qibla direction depends on your phone’s compass sensor; magnetic fields and calibration can affect it.
- Qada estimates are based on the information you enter.
- Nothing in the app is a fatwa or binding religious ruling. Please consult competent authorities with religious questions.
3. Your account
- You need a valid email address to create an account; the codes sent to it are personal — never share them.
- Children under 13 cannot create an account.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. If you receive a sign-in notice you do not recognise, use Settings → Sign out of all devices (“Tüm cihazlardan çıkış yap”).
- You can delete your account at any time in the app or at haslet.frax.tr/en/delete-account.
4. Unacceptable use
You must not abuse the service: overload the server, try to access someone else’s account, run automated attempts such as code guessing, maliciously modify the app through reverse engineering, or use it for unlawful purposes. In such cases we may suspend or delete the account concerned.
5. Content and intellectual property
Haslet’s design, code and brand belong to fraxlabs. Content such as the Quran text, translation, transliteration and recitation audio is obtained from its sources (e.g. islamic.network, quranicaudio.com, everyayah.com) under their own terms. The records you enter are yours.
6. Limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”. We cannot guarantee that it will run without interruption or errors. To avoid losing your records, we recommend using an account backup or Settings → Create backup (“Yedek oluştur”). Except where liability cannot be limited by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the app.
7. Ending the service
You can stop using the app and delete your account whenever you wish. We reserve the right to change or discontinue the service; if we discontinue the account service we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Your mandatory consumer rights, including those of the country where you live, remain unaffected.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version and date appear at the top of this page. You will be informed in the app of significant changes.
